I am a 30 year veteran flight instructor, aircraft owner, and licensed Airframe & Powerplant mechanic with Inspection Authorization. This has been the best career path for me, but it has been nothing short of brutality. From going thru the FAA legal system, having several civil lawsuits, and now currently being the target of the FAA and NTSB putting me in the forefront of fighting for our pilots rights. I know the FAR's inside and out as they have been repeatedly used against me. The FAA and NTSB inspectors will not tell you the truth, nor be truthful with you at all. No one on the airport will stand by you as they come in groups of at least two to three inspectors. These inspectors have no morals, and know that there is no consequents to lying, stealing documents, and ruining your business and pilot career. No one in the aviation community will come to your aid or be there for you as a representative. If they do they are immediately targeted by the FAA and NTSB and they end up being destroyed....and no one cares. Having legal representation is a waste of time and money. Your attorney has to follow the rules. The FAA and NTSB inspectors do not have to following any rules of law, and they know that the FAA legal system will protect them. The only defense you have is to go into a FAA or NTSB interview with complete knowledge of what is required by the FAR's and providing just the minimum. I will also make myself available to be there in person to stand with you as your representative if needed.
