In the June, 2019 Hawaii accident the NTSB covered up that the left propeller was feathered. This feathered propeller showed that the accident was caused by the left engine failing, and that the pilot perished in the line of duty feathering that propeller. The NTSB wrote the report on the left propeller stating that it was not feathered, rather it was running at full power. The NTSB then put Hartzell Propellers name on the report. Hartzell Propellers did not right this falsehood, but choose to claim the report as their own. Follow along with the articles and videos showing how the NTSB and FAA threatens our aircraft manufacturers and accident investigators into compliance. Compliance even if the facts are wrong. Compliance threatening the integrity of our accident investigations. Compromising aviation safety.
