In 1974 the Privacy Act was put into law to protect the American people from an abusive federal government.  The right to obtain ALL records pertaining to you where given, and each federal agency created it’s own Privacy Act department.   This patch represents the various steps the FAA has taken to circumvent this law.  To hide information.  To be secretive and hide the criminal actions of its employees.  This law was made in the wake of President Nixon’s resignation for unlawful behavior.  He promised to us that he was “Not A Crook.”  I fear that the FAA cannot make such a claim…
